ELVIRA aka Cassandra Peterson

ELVIRA NAKED! seriously. there is a movie with a very young cassandra peterson (elvira) from 1974 called “working girls”, it was later released as “elvira naked”. it is a comedy/drama about a group of strippers. cassandra plays the starring role and you guessed it, she strips. complete movie, GRADE A+

MTV – ELVIRA hosts mtv 1984, grade B-, 3 dvd’s, 5 hours total, loaded with halloween theme videos, an elvira video, and for john paragon fans, john partially co-hosts in character as the sex ed teacher from his paragon of comedy special.

MTV – ELVIRA hosts mtv 1986, grade C+, 2 dvd’s, 2 hours each,on location in Salem MA as she counted down the scariest music videos of all time, complete with skits and boob jokes in-between. contains the entire broadcast including commercials!—————

Elvira 2 (minor compilaton) the earliest appearance of elvira on tv that i have seen; a rare 1982 elvira appearance on new wave theatre where she does a fake commercial (possibly 1981). a spot on the KCAL Halloween Special 1997 elvira makes a short appearance and does a live performance. then cassandra plays a very short bit, about 3 minutes, on an episode of “an evening at the improv” from 1982. then a small part from Jekyll and Hyde Together Again – cassandra has a very quick scene in this movie. her face is even partially covered bcuz she plays a nurse in an operating room. however she does also do a quick flash of her breast to the camera. then a short app. of elvira in a 1985 cheech and chong video. also cassandras short walk on in a 1983 episode of ALICE, a short appearance on parker lewis cant lose in 1992 as elvira, and another cassandra short bit on fantasy island in 1978. also on the same disc is a FULL LENGTH MOVIE; a comedy/drama from 1986 that has among others, cassandra peterson acting in the movie, called “ECHO PARK”.

Elvira – Monsterama (Monster collectibles) 2 hours, elvira presents movie memorabilia and rarities from classics movies.
grade A.

“uncensored” a 1 hour long, 1983 adult oriented sketch comedy show with john paragon, cassandra peterson aka elvira, murray langston aka the unknown comic, and others. very rare! and the “sex ed teacher” character from the paragon of comedy special makes an appearance in this!)

“the paragon of comedy” this is a VERY VERY rare comedy special shown on cable hbo/showtime in 1983. with skits like the al and arnie show, the sex ed teacher, the hippie, the lounge singer ramone azteca. and guests like peewee herman and elvira. it is absolutley classic to those that remember it!!! the picture and sound quality on the dvd are EXCELLENT, grade A.

the complete 80s cartoon; EWOKS 2 dvd set

and SUPER COOL!: Split Screen versions! of the original theatrical trilogy of star wars, empire, and return of.., up against the 2004 special edition versions. professionally done split screens, grade A quality, now sit back and watch the difference from one version to the other in a killer split screen format. 1 dvd for each movie.

DISC 1) seasons one and two of the animated “CLONE WARS” series presented on cartoon network. on 1 disc A+ quality.

DISC 2) the complete animated cartoon series “DROIDS” following R2 and C3P0 on misc adventures. 2 dvd grade B+

DISC 3) a two disc, fan made, star wars film called “REVELATIONS”, it take place between episode 4 and 5. unlike most low budget fan films this is a pro quality production, very well done

DISC 4)”The Casting Auditions” (an hour long collection of black and white auditions, you cant believe some of the people you see in this that tried out for star wars roles, classic stuff)

DISC 5)”The Mythology of Star Wars” with Bill Moyer & George Lucas (an hour long presentation going deeper into the creation of star wars and influences of Lucas, like the writings of people like Joseph Campbell (i also have a disc of bill moyers interviewing Joseph Campbell at Lucas’ ranch about star wars, mythology and religion in general, its a 6 hour long disc on the list below)

DISC 6) Star Wars on “Sesame Street” and the “Muppet Show”, 1 hour total.

DISC 7) “The Star Wars Holiday Special” complete with boba fett cartoon. (highest quality version you will find!

DISC EIGHT) “TROOPS”, “Kenner Toy Commercials”, and Mark Hamill on the SNL type show “FRIDAYS”, Kenner Toy Commercials (a full hour of commercials! all star wars rare toy commercials), Troops (troops is a comedy based on the show “cops” but instead the cameras follow imperial stormtroopers around the galaxy as they patrol, pretty funny stuff, from the official release not a download and it also has a directors commentary) and Mark Hamill on the tv show Fridays. 2 hour disc.

the discs below are the real thing, seriously rare stuff, full of insane amounts of rare footage. so much stuff i cant even start to list it but i will try a little….

DISC 9)”Deleted Magic” over 2 hours, absolutely packed with unseen footage, out takes, interviews, etc. great stuff.

DISC 10)”The Making of a Trilogy Disc 1″ over 2 hours – The MAKING OF STAR WARS as told by C3PO and R2D2-
1 hour. and then another show; SPECIAL FX- THE Empire Strikes Back, also 1 hour. then “connections” a short film with r2 and c3po talking about all 6 movies.

DISC 11)”The Making of a Trilogy Disc 2″ -first CLASSIC CREATURES: Return of the Jedi with carrie fisher and billie d, 1 hour. and the; FROM STAR WARS TO JEDI: The Making of a Saga w MARK Hamill, also 1 hour.

DISC 12)”Rarities Disc 1″ (with 11 rare specials, commercials and interviews) 4 hours!!! of stuff here, so much stuff on this one, siskel and ebert reviewing star wars, the full length special edition “Hardware Wars”, THE DONNIE AND MARIE SHOW GO STAR WARS! (never would have believed it w/out seeing it), conan obrian stuff, more commercials and promos, etc etc etc.

DISC 13): “Rarities Disc 2″ (with 19 more rare specials, interviews, commercials and sketches) over 2 more hours of seriously rare stuff. includes the forgotten scenes disc, with stills of deleted scenes, then a lot of fan film type stuff like action figure theatre, trooper clerks (a take on the movie clerks), a skit from the Richard Pryor show! richard is the bartender at the star wars cantina. a south park short called Park Wars. Mark Hamill on saturday night live, carrie fisher on SNL. natalie portman on david letterman before she was in star wars, a 60 minutes special with george lucas, and a bunch of other rare things.

4 DISC SET) the ORIGINAL! versions of star wars, empire strike back, return of the jedi, NOT!!! the re-releases from the late 90’s with the new digital effects and not the newest “special edition” versions released in the recent box set with even more digital changes! these are the ORIGINAL! 70’s 80’s versions, the Original Trilogy was officially remixed, restored and remastered by lucas films in the mid nineties for LASERDISC release! they are digital quality! not from vhs! and they are the precursor to the 4 disc box set that exist now, these were the same set up, all 3 movies with a bonus 4th disc of extras. personally i have never liked the digital effects added to the star wars series, and after getting the box set over christmas with more crap added and a ruined new ending for return of the jedi i decided i never want to watch those again, i think they suck! i cant stand the stupid effects, what would you do, go back and add some touch ups to the mona lisa? the originals were magic just as they were, so i hunted these down, A+ quality dvd’s, from laserdisc, of each of the movies with a 4th bonus disc of extras youve never seen anywhere else. this set was made identical to an official dvd release, it functions just like an official dvd , with separate audio tracks, commentaries, and extras. it is in WIDESCREEN/LETTERBOX format, has full working menus, full access to every frame and chapter selections with extras like separate audio tracks with commentaries!, its totally awesome.

4. msg super rock japan 1984 seibu stadium 1 hour. A qlty. then a second full hour of the scorpions at the same event. ends with scorpions singing doctor doctor with msg! laser disc rips. grade A quality
5. ufo and MSG live, ufo 75 and 85, msg ‘81 in germany at the rockpalast. 81 & 85 shows are grade A quality. 75 footage from disc one but lower quality.

(this dvd is simialr to “the story of ufo” dvd) with tons of schenker, lots of live footage, contains entire Don Kirchners Rock Concert 1975 u.s. concert with 5 songs performed; Give Her The Gun, Space Child, Doctor Doctor, Only You Can Rock Me, and Rock Bottom. also has  the original line-up from the Beat Club 1971, performing an almost 7 minute Boogie For George. pete way is the host for the dvd. and the dvd is much like a new ufo documentary, it covers much more than just the strangers lp. basically from the beginning up thru the strangers lp. also has a picture slide show bonus.

the American/English language DIGITALLY REMASTERED 6 DISC original ULTRAMAN SET!!! amazing quality. 6 disc official release.

i also have the 10 disc japanese official remasters of ultraman.

TWO RARE ULTRAMAN DISCS;

below is the MOST RARE, EARLIEST footage of ultraman in existence! the presentation is the first time the public was introduced to ULTRAMAN!
the first two paragraphs of the liner notes, in the new box set 6 disc release is all about this presentation. japanese tv, july 10th, 1966, “THE BIRTH OF ULTRAMAN” a special that ran on tv in japan the week before ultraman first aired in 1966!! a live action stage show, in black and white. with the actual actors from the series and the actual monsters running around on stage in front of a live audience! about 30 min long, it is like an introduction to ultraman for japan, mr tsuburaya is in the audience as well and comes up on stage. then two more half hour shows from japanese tv; “EIJI TSUBURAYA-ULTRAMAN WHO LOVED THE VAULT OF HEAVEN” which is like a biography of eiji tsuburaya and of the show itself, it is a lot like the men who made ultraman dvd listed below, then “HISTORY OF ULTRAMAN” which is basically footage of all ultras up to 1990. then a couple misc extras including “THE LOST FOOTAGE“, this was a 20 minute dvd that came with the 1966 ultraman book, i have added that dvd to this dvd, the footage is made up of black and white stills from the series. the whole disc is about 3 hours. all on one dvd. all in japanese language. quality of the black and white footage is grade C. the rest is grade A.

two very cool, behind the scenes type stuff, docu/drama tv movies from japan about the creation of ultraman, beginnings of the show, and tsuburaya, etc etc. called THE MAN WHO BECAME ULTRAMAN, and THE MEN WHO MADE ULTRAMAN. japanese language, grade A.

LOTS of other ultraman movies like Ultra brothers vs. monster army, and the ultra story.

i have the complete space giants aka space avenger (goldar, silvar, and gam, a robot family) 12 dvds’, excellent quality. (includes the pilot episode with goldar UNMASKED! the actors face! no mask!)

also the complete johnny sokko and his flying robot (kid who controls a giant robot via a watch he wears on his wrist) 7disc VERY good quality.
