"FRIDAY'S" ABC tv comedy dvd set | No Comments(attention fridays fans; did you know steve martins movie “the jerk” had a tv version and it starred mark blankfield! “the jerk, too” 1984. i have it, 90min, grade A, i also have the mark blankfield movie who’s character was based on the “pharmacist” skit from “fridays”; the 1982 classic comedy “JEKYLL & HYDE TOGETHER AGAIN” 90min. grade A. as well there was a follow up to that movie that mark starred in called “frankenstein general hospital”, 90min grade A. mark was also in a sitcom called “good and evil” with teri garr, i’ve got that too.)

this is a dvd set of the short lived, completely CLASSIC!!! and extremely rare, saturday night live styled weekly sketch comedy show “FRIDAYS” on ABC television Friday nights from 1980-1982 and had in the cast Michael Richards and Larry David of seinfeld fame. this is where you see the beginning of the Kramer character start to emerge! ahead of its time and much more edgy than SNL. also famous for the infamous andy kaufman appearance where andy starts a fight on live television.
